# FLUSHDB

> Delete all keys in the selected database with the FLUSHDB command in the Upstash Redis TypeScript SDK, using sync or async execution.

  Deletes all keys permanently. Use with caution!

## Arguments

  Whether to perform the operation asynchronously.
  Defaults to synchronous.
